In previous years I focused on brand communication, connecting digital and print design. Creating a seamless user experience and unified brand impression throughout all touchpoints is one of the challenges for digital designing today. From a design perspective, the creative process does not stop at designing digital products for mobile, tablet and desktop. It's the interaction between design and user experience on the one hand and the content a brand presents on the other hand. That's why today's designers and technical engineers have to cooperate and reevaluate their collaboration to bring inspiring concepts and experiences to life.
Good design is not decorating a christmas tree. Design is about emotion – love & hate, behaviour – form follows function and reflection – message & identity.
Creating a seamless user experience and unified brand impression by linking visual identity and communication design is good design... and with code, it's good digital design.
